Promotional Video

Holy Cross is a Catholic Sixth Form College and University Centre based in Bury. After the Sixth Form College was recognised by Ofsted as exceptional for progression to university they wanted to create something that would showcase this. As a result Hive were asked to develop two promotional videos for them. One video for the College and as well as one video for the University Centre too.

Each video featured key messages from the college aimed at prospective new students. Hive came up with a concept which involved students and tutors at the college.

Our plan for the students and teachers to put the messages on boards. Messages read statements such as ‘excellent pass rates’. As well as ‘welcoming environment’, ‘outstanding results’ and also ‘extra curricular activities’.

The message boards were held up by a varied mix of students. The shoot was a combined shoot lasting five days. Students expressed their positive experiences as well as their opinions too. This certainly expressed the welcoming ethos of the centre to students of all ages.

Both videos were loved by the client. They have also had a really good response from new students.
