Street Food Chef Seasonings
Essential Cuisine’s exciting new product launch was a range of 6 summer seasonings, aimed at the foodservice industry. This new range was inspired by popular ‘Street Food’ culture. Each blend is influenced by a different flavour from around the globe. Since this was a brand new range, a full raft of marketing was needed. From the name origination and product branding to packaging design and marketing materials for the launch.
Following in-depth research fo the market, our first task was to create a new brand that would reflect the street food origins of the range. An impactful design was required which would work across a variety of distinct seasonings and world cuisines. With this purpose in mind, we began by creating a number of different name options based on the brief. Out of these options ‘Street Food Chef’ was selected as it encapsulated the essence of the brand.
The logo design followed next. This grungy logo featured a ‘street food’ van, knife, fork completed with wings either side. This visual represented the fast moving nature of street food cuisine. The wings further represent the freedom and endless possibilities which the spices offer. This theme was emphasised later through both the marketing and packaging. Here we featured recipe ideas and inspiration that would inspire the chefs that the product was aimed at. The resulting logo, was eye-catching and distinct with a visual that really embodied the ethos of the brand.
We went on to create the label design for the range, take a look at the project here.
What did the client have to say:
“Hive produced outstanding work in developing the brand proposition for Essential Cuisine’s new seasonings range ‘Street Food Chef’ for me and the team.”
