Tagra Lighting create bespoke lighting solutions for some of the biggest brands in the UK and across the world. They specialise in LED lighting solutions for commercial settings. Due to the success of previous projects created for the client, they contacted Hive to create a new marketing brochure design for them. The brochure was to showcase the high quality of their work illustrated through the use of case studies.
Firstly, Hive created a number of design options for a 32 page brochure from which Tagra could select the final design. We wanted to create a consistent house style which Tagra could take forward to use on future literature. So that some consistency in the look of their communication and marketing could be established.
Tagra selected the design route based upon a circular ‘spotlight’ device used in the background. They liked how this device could be used to represent shining a light on their high profile case studies. The circular device was then carried across to other marketing materials to create synergy within a strong and refreshed brand identity.
Another design feature throughout the brochure was the use of a bold red colour. The red colour was used to emphasise certain key words and sentences throughout the text. A custom cutter was used for the outer cover of the brochure. This included an internal flap as a handy way to hold any extra notes for the reader. In addition we included slots where the business card for the sales contact could be added.
Again to tie in with the theme, large circular images of each case study were used throughout. As a result, the finished brochure was impactful with a clean and modern feel, making the most of the prestigious case studies.
