Logo Design

Following a pitch for the brand refresh for Flix Facilities, post production specialists based in Manchester, Hive were entrusted with reinvigorating the outdated branding for Flix. The brand refresh was to coincide with the launch of their latest facility based at the White Tower in MediaCityUK.

We were tasked with creating a brand identity that was fresh and multilayered. This was so that it could be adaptable enough to use across Flix’s many departments and locations across Manchester.

The logo incorporated a ‘play’ button in the centre. The idea of this is for it to be could be colour-coded for each department. The recognized green colour from their previous logo for the main brand was prominently used.

In addition to the logo, we designed and printed a full stationery suite, including business cards, email signatures, letterheads and comp slips. As well as a launch party invitations. Once the branding had been finalised we moved on to updating the Flix website, which we designed and built to a very tight timescales so that it could be ready for the opening of their White Tower premises.
