Community Hub Wall Graphics

Aspire contacted Hive to help them revamp one of their new buildings with community hub wall graphics. Brierley House was to be turned into a hub that could offer day services to people with learning disabilities and older people. The new centre would offer a wide and varied programme of activities. The aim of the hub was also to provide support to the wider community via social groups and activities. In addition, the onsite community cafe will serve delicious home-cooked meals, sweet treats, and refreshments.

The old building, was very clinical and outdated, and therefore not very inviting for community members to visit. To solve this, Aspire briefed Hive to create wall vinyl designs for the entrance. The design needed be be in keeping with Aspire’s vibrant brand identity and create a welcoming first impression as visitors entered the hub.

Following the site survey, Hive created a wide range of design routes for the client to choose from. The design Aspire selected for the entrance featured landmarks from the local area of Salford and silhouettes of people representing the community. Aspire were delighted with the design created for the community hub wall graphics. So much so that they further extended the area to incorporate the main hallway. This long wall allowed Aspire to feature more of the designs that Hive created. The long wall space was to include key messages with a relaxing nature-based visual, which suited the calming environment they wanted to create inside. The finished result had a huge impact and transformed the space for Brierley Community Hub.
