Reaching the age of ten years in July 2016 was quite a milestone for us. A lot has happened in the world since we began; Facebook, tablets, the rise of e-commerce, iPhones, Twitter, spiralizers, the list goes on. Many things have changed yet some things remain the same, like effective creative and good old fashioned service which is something that we pride ourselves on here at Hive.
We’ve had many highlights in our first ten years from taking that first leap in 2006, shooting the Simoniz Tabs commercial in South Africa, helping a relatively small, underground sauce company called Crucials along the way to becoming a householed name to creating the new Songs of Praise logo.
Other great moments in Hive’s history were the creation of our first full museum exhibition for Scarborough Museum Trust which was a huge success to creating memorable and fun hard set featured on the BBC’s ‘Olympics Tonight’ show and used throughout the London Olympics. From producing a moving and highly effective promotional film for the local charity Start who help vulnerable people through creativity to our move to the heart of MediaCity, it’s been an exciting and eventful journey.
As we continue to help our clients with diverse projects we’re looking forward to meeting and helping new ones and continuing our journey of designing, building and filming and would like to say thanks for being with us so far and here’s to the next exciting chapter to come.
