Scarborough Art Gallery
Scarborough Museum Trust wanted an array of marketing materials creating by Hive. The marketing materials were needed to promote their six month long exhibition ‘Fears, Foes Faeries’.
The campaign included press advertising, posters, beer mats, as well as banners. There was also an 8 metre wide city centre banner. All of the marketing materials certainly left a huge impact across the town. The materials worked really well as a collection!
The concept focused on taking ‘odd looking’ individual exhibits from the exhibition. We created intriguing headlines for each, with an explanation below. A range of 5 advert designs were created. Taking one object from each section of the exhibition. These concepts were used across each of the ads and also the marketing materials required. They worked a treat!
The campaign was extremely successful in creating interest in the exhibition and as a result boosted the usual visitor numbers too.
